Our co-founders began researching and developing our patent-pending text analytics tools in 2018.
We wanted to help property and casualty insurers effectively use the massive amounts of unstructured text data in lawsuits. We invented a solution that identifies and summarizes critical case information that helps claims professionals and defense counsel make better – and faster – evidence-based decisions.

Because of the commercial opportunity of our research, the National Science Foundation and Virginia Tech supported our work with grant funding. We built our first prototype in 2020 to simplify the process of capturing legal work data and lawsuit communications. We extended our platform in 2021 with real-time communication and an additional patent filing to apply machine learning models to human interaction workflows.
